PREGNANCY:25 Weeks

How far along? 25 weeks and 6 Days in this picture.

Total weight gain: +13lbs.
Maternity clothes? This shirt is maternity as well as my capris that I’m wearing. I’ve mostly worn yoga pants all week though.
Stretch marks? NONE!
Sleep: Sleep has been awesome. I’ve been getting up at the same time every morning with my husband and we’ve been going to bed earlier. I’ve been feeling energized this week which is nice since I never received that amazing burst of energy that everyone told me I would get in my 2nd trimester.
Best moment this week: Going to a private screening of A Birth Story and getting to hear from Ina May Gaskin as well as other birthing professionals in my city. It was so encouraging to be around others who celebrate birth and who are incredibly supportive of mothers. I’m glad I live where I live.
Miss Anything?: Not having heartburn at night.
Movement: She kicked her daddy in the face this week which we both thought was adorable. The last couple of days she hasn’t been quite as squirmy.
Food cravings:  Not really craving anything this week, sort of weird since there has been something that I just couldn’t do without almost every week so far.
Anything making you queasy or sick:Bread and now tomato sauce.
Gender: GIRL
Labor Signs: Just my braxton hicks.
Belly Button in or out? In, but it’s stretching. Take a look, it looks like an eye.

Rings on or off? On!
Happy or Moody: Feeling so blessed.

Reading: My husband and I are reading through Husband Coached Childbirth and I’ve been diving into Hypnobirthing which I am loving.

I can’t believe that in probably less than 15 weeks this little angel with be in my arms. We’ve been incredibly blessed by other people who’ve given us clothing and other essential baby items. It’s all becoming so surreal.

  1. Oh my goodness! You look fabulous. You still have abs! I wish my stomach looked that good now and I’m not pregnant.
